Some intresting place and event in Pontianak City.

in this post I will tell you some interesting places in pontianak. as I think hehehehe. so what are you waiting for, let's me tell you one by one.

first of all, there is a place where locals or local tourists and foreign tourists can visit it. yep its the Alun-Alun Kapuas
yes, this place is perfect for jogging track, place to relax your mind, take some pictures and selfies, and become the best place for family picnic. oh as i know, in here the Park library is now opened. this place became one of pontianak city icons from so many other places. so don't forget to come here if you're in Pontianak city. it located at Rahadi Usman St, Centered, Pontianak City, West Borneo, 78243



Not just here. there are also interesting places besides the Alun-Alun Kapuas park. They are Digulis park and Akcaya Park



The Digulis park is very different from other parks. where in the behind there are jogging tracks and playgrounds covered by many shade trees.

according to pontianak city government rules, if unmarried couples enter the rear garden above 7 pm, then that's when they will be married by the mayor for free. imagine if you're in low bugdet but wanna marry. you wanna try it? hehehehe
it located at Jenderal Ahmad Yani St. No.114, Bansir Laut, Southeast Pontianak, West Borneo 78112



Next there is a Akcaya Park. In my mind, i called this place "The next Korem". why is it so? because the Peddler who used to peddling at Korem or that we know now the Kapuas Square park are move here due to Pontianak's government policy. as i said before, the peddlers from front to back selling variety of items like clotheses, pants, food and beverages, and many more. the place is located at  Sultan Syahrir St, Akcaya, Pontianak City, West Borneo, 78113



now we move to historical places like Museum, unique places and some old historical building in Pontianak







Keraton Kadariah is the palace of Pontianak Sultanate which was built in from 1771 until 1778 AD. Sayyid Syarif Abdurrahman Alkadrie was the first sultan who inhabited the palace. This palace is located near the center of Pontianak City, West Kalimantan. As the forerunner of the birth of Pontianak City, Keraton Kadariah become one of the historical tourist attraction. It is located in the city center makes it easy for tourists to visit it. Access to this palace can be traversed by land or river route. If you use a landline you can use two-wheeled vehicles or four wheels whereas if you use the river path you can use a boat or speedboat from the port of Senghie Senghie







And here it is, the Radank House. it is a term for the long house of the Dayak tribe of Kanayatn in the province of West Kalimantan. Although only an Imitation, but this house Betang, quite active in accommodating the activities of young peoples and Dayak art studio. Radakng House on Kota Baru St, Pontianak Selatan is a typical house of Dayak tribe, Rumah Betang or Rumah Panjang is an object that must be visited if come to West Kalimantan.

Starting from the traditional betang home in Kampung Saham Kab. Landak to modern radakng house in Pontianak city can be your choice to know Dayak tribes daily life.
One of the uniqueness of Radakng house that is, has a philosophy to describe the house of Dayak tribe past and the building is still using wood material so it looks natural and simple





West Kalimantan Provincial Museum is a museum located on Jenederal Achmad Yani St, Pontianak City of West Kalimantan Province. This museum holds a variety of historical treasures in West Kalimantan Province. one of them is the historical heritages of civilization of several types of ethnic groups in West Kalimantan, especially: the tribe Melayu, Dayak tribe, and the Tionghoa. Hours of this museum to visit is on Tuesday-Sunday 08.00-14.00, Friday 08.00-11.00 and 12.30-14.00. While Monday and national holidays close. so dont come here in monday you know.








And there it is the suitable place used as a shopping target for souvenirs. this place is on the PSP St. you can find a variety of typical Dayak souvernirs as like  from fabrics, knick-knacks, jewelry, cutlery, and others. so do not forget to stop by here readers,
